In Pennsylvania, a 47-year-old Towanda Shields, who lost the lottery is accused of repeated threats to the lives of employees Pennsylvania Lottery.

The woman faces charges of terrorist threats, harassment, persecution.

Local media quoted Lower Swatara Township police Detective Robert Appleby saying Shields "plays lottery a lot and gets very upset by the fact she doesn't win". Appleby said Shields was "completely obsessed with the lottery" and her threats became "so relentless it was becoming a concern".

Shields was threatening to harm not only to the employees of the lottery, but their families, stating that it is for that hired several thugs. One Shields told employees at the retail locations in Philadelphia, where she regularly bought tickets that "someone is going to die" on Halloween.

Although Shields has used anonymous burner phones, authorities were able to determine her identity.

Employees Pennsylvania Lottery hope that the criminal will be punished, and their lives and those of their relatives any more which will not threaten.
