Ash Gaming was established in 2002 and is a company dedicated to developing games for the online gaming industry. With a Gambling Software License issued by the UK Gambling Commission, they are based in Southwark (London) and employ over 40 staff.

In December 2001, Ash Gaming was purchased by software giant Playtech for about £23 million. The London-Listed company (Playtech that is) has therefore been able to offer Ash Gaming’s slots alongside their own impressive range of games to increase their product offering.

This is why you will see slots such as Full Moon Fortunes, Little Britain and Wild Gambler being offered alongside Playtech-powered video slot games. Despite there not being that many Ash Gaming online slots gamess reviewed yet, more and coming so check back regularly.

If you really want to try on their games, try Alice in Wonderland which is simply brilliant. One more thing – a lot of their games have progressive jackpots which are exclusive to the casinos they appear at.

The online casino business works in an interesting way; in some industries exclusive licensing details between supplier and licensees would squeeze smaller operators out of the picture.  Fortunately from a creative point of view our business doesn’t work like that; online casinos are generally free to pick and choose which online slots they would like to feature.

This means that smaller companies who create great products have as much chance of getting their slots licensed as the more dominant software providers such as Playtech and Net Entertainment.

Ash Gaming is one of the niche online slots suppliers but it is worth mentioning that since late 2011 it has been part of the Playtech brand.  Even though this is the case it still produces slots under it’s own name and still operated from it’s Southwark Street home in London.

Chris Ash was the man who started the brand back in 2002 and this was a period close to the beginning of the online casino revolution, although not at the very start.  Subsequently Ash Gaming has evolved to become a leading supplier of quality slots and related products and is regulated under the UK Gambling Commission.

In 2011 the founder decided the brand could flourish better under the umbrella of a larger company  and accepted an offer of £23 million for the company.  It was a good deal for both companies – Playtech acquired a London base and a talented team of developers with a track record of quality slots while Ash Gaming acquired an extra big foot to stick in the door of the online casinos.

We’ve reviewed a number of Ash Gaming’s products and two in particular stand out from the others – Little Britain and Sensible Soccer Euro Cup; The former wedges in all the characters from the iconic TV show in a variety of bonus game while the latter has one of the most creative bonus features we’ve ever encountered, as well as being based on one of the best football video games ever.

Ash Gaming releases are well worth looking out for if these examples are anything to go by and we’ll review them as they appear.
